About CTC
Effective November 26, 2003 CTC Distributing, Ltd. was approved by U.S. Customs and Border Protection as an activated Container Station per 19CFR19.40. In addition, the facility was approved as a Class 3 Bonded Warehouse and Class 11 G.O. warehouse and is pending corporate license issuance as an U.S. Customshouse Broker. The establishments of these working environments reflect the expansion of service offerings and desire to become the premier facility for ocean container and shipment handling and management in the Rio Grande Valley.

The Company
Traditionally the primary function and focus was domestic warehouse, distribution, storage and inventory management with specialty in fulfillment and pick-and-pack of finished product direct to retail outlets. CTC Distributing, Ltd. was endorsed by the City of Edinburg in 2004 as the managing operator of the soon to open Edinburg International Airport Air Cargo Terminal and Foreign Trade Zone. The global trade market continues to create tremendous opportunity along the U.S. – Mexico border in the customer supply chain; integrity linked solutions. Year-over-year growth of U.S. ocean imports transiting through South Texas destined for a Mexico maquila continues to rise. Ocean mode exports of finished goods, coming out of Mexico to transit the U.S., also continues to increase as Mexico enters into more free trade agreements for sell of finished goods destined for the best selected ocean port of export. CTC’s dedication to customer service and process improvement for established customers brought forth the introduction of expanding services into the international arena, specifically in ocean container and shipment handling to support the demand for quality service and professionalism.

CTC Distributing, Ltd. located at 615 Blaze Blvd., Edinburg, Texas is less than ¼ mile west of IH281 South off Owassa Road. The facility provides immediate OTR access to IH281 north or south and is less than 3 miles from the US77/83 interchange connecting to the Rio Grande Valley east or west. Edinburg is 240 miles due south of San Antonio, 350 southwest of Houston and 90 miles west of Brownsville.
The 140,000-sq. ft. facility offers at least 25 overhead dock high doors and all areas are bonded. This photograph was taken from the south edge of the property that runs parallel to Owassa Road, and is the single gated entrance/exit.
Building exterior surveillance security is 24-hour video recorded surveillance. The existing system has expansion capabilities to enhance surveillance as required. |
